Mr. G Vijay Kumar had his schooling in Gudivada Town and graduated in ECE in 2000 from Madra University, Tamil Nadu, securing a first class. Mr. G Vijay Kumar worked as Software Engineer prior to working as Lecturer in ECE Dept. in VR Siddhartha Engg. College, Vijayawada, pursued M.Tech. in CSE from JNTUK Kakinada in 2007. He served as Assoc. Prof. & Head – CSE in Sri Sunflower College of Engineering & Tech., Lankapalli,, Presently working as Prof. in CSE and Principal of VKR, VNB & AGK College of Engineering. He pursued his doctoral programme from SCSVMV University, kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu in the year 2014. Dr. G Vijay Kumar had a deep involvement in Image Processing research and was awarded the prestigious Career Award for Young Teachers (CAYT) by AICTE New Delhi in the year 2008.

He immersed himself in conducting research in chosen area of specialization, guiding Ph.D. projects and M.Tech. students and teaching at undergraduate and post graduate level. Over 50 B.Tech students, 20 M.Tech students, 17 MS Projects, and 2 Doctorates stand testimony for his productivity in Image Processing, Neural Networks and Computer Networks. Dr. G Vijay Kumar  has so far published more than 50 papers in national and international journals and conferences. He has attended many international conferences throughout the world and has chaired many technical sessions. He has organized many national and international conferences and workshops. Awards and laurels won by Prof. G Vijay Kumar stand as his academic strength. So far he has received 4 awards. Dr. G Vijay Kumar is a Fellow of IETE, ISTE, IBMESI, ISTE. Dr. G Vijay Kumar has also authored three popular books on Computer Networks, Neural networks and Fuzzy Logic, apart from editing several Proceedings
