About Abhijeet Kumar

My name is Abhijeet Kumar and I am from Ranchi, Jharkhand. I did B.Tech. degree in Mechanical

Engineering from B.I.T. Sindri, Dhanbad in 2014. Then I joined Direct Ph.D. program (integrated

M.S. + Ph.D.) in Thermodynamics and Combustion Engines Lab, Department of Mechanical

Engineering, I.I.T. Madras in 2015. My research area is the investigation of liquid jet instabilities and

spray unsteadiness in coaxial airblast atomizers. More details on my research work can be found out

in my following publications/conference paper:

Apart from my research work, I am also interested in Robotics. In fact, I was often engaged in several

robotics competition during my B.Tech. period and have won about 4 prizes in different robotics

competition held in B.I.T. Sindri and IIT-ISM Dhanbad. I was also a recipient of Central Sector

Scheme of Scholarship for College and University students (CSSS-2010) by Central Board of

Secondary Education (CBSE). One can reach out to me on following websites:
