About PGS Manjusha

My name is PGS Manjusha. I am a Researcher and enthusiastic Microbiologist as a

passionate, dedicate and hard working with in the field of professional scientific research.

Presently, I am pursuing PhD Microbiology in Osmania University in collaboration with

Indian Council of Agricultural Research – Indian Institute of Rice Research (ICAR – IIRR),

Rajendranagar, Hyderabad (Telangana State). Therefore, I am expert in handling molecular

work, DNA/RNA isolation, RT-PCR, microbial pathogens, Scientific writing, invitro

fertilization (IVF), semen cryopreservation, extracting phytochemicals and antioxidant

properties from particular constituents.

I have done my M.Phil. in Microbiology “Study of Antimicrobial, Phytochemical and

Antioxidant Properties of Wild Mushrooms” from Shoolini University (2017-2019),

Himachal Pradesh, India. Before seeking admission into M.Phil., I had done my MSc. In

Microbiology from St. Francis Degree College for Women (2015-2017), Telangana, India.

During the course of my masters, I had an opportunity to work on endangered species of

wildlife (Indian Leopard) by doing molecular related work at Centre for Cellular Molecular

Biology (CCMB). This summer internship inculcated many pragmatic accomplishments in

  1. I graduated from Kasturba Degree College for Women (2012-2015), Telangana, India.

Since, then every coming year has proven to be professionally more rewarding than its

precedent.

Till now, I had published two research papers in reputed two different journals. One

of the journals is International Journal of Pharmacy and Biological Sciences |ISSN: 2321-

3272 (Print), ISSN: 2230-7605 (Online) IJPBS | Volume 8 | Special Issue 1 regarding the

topic “Studies on Semen Preservation and Expression of HSP A8 in Endangered Indian

Leopard (Panthera pardus fusca) spermatozoa by using quantitative PCR (q-PCR)” and

another journal was Saudi Journal of Pathology and Microbiology ISSN: 2518-3370

(Online)| ISSN: 2518-3362 (Print)| Volume-5| Issue-2 (February, 2020) “Molecular

Identification and Isolation of Antimicrobial, Phytochemical, Antioxidant Properties of

Different Solvent Extracts from Wild Mushrooms”.

Last but not the least I want to acknowledge my beloved Grand Father (Yelledi

Apparao) the highly encouraging, loving support, selfless and valuable guidance which he

has given. I feel a deep sense of gratitude for my Mom (Prattipati Syamala) and Dad

(Prattipati Satyanarayana) who formed part of my vision and taught me good things that

really matter in life.
