T.Jegadeesan, 42 year old academician working as Principal in College of
Occupational Therapy, JKK Munirajah Medical Research Foundation, B.Komarapalayam,
Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. Completed his Bachelor Degree from Santosh College of Occupational
Therapy and Masters in KMCH college of Occupational Therapy, completing PhD in
Bharathidasan University. He is having 20 years of experience in Administration and
Rehabilitating patients with Neurological, orthopedic, pediatric and mental disorders. He has
done more than hundred researches in above mentioned rehabilitation field.
He is the life member of All India Occupational Therapist’s Association and Academic Council
of Occupational Therapy. Served as Convener/ President for Tamilnadu Branch Of AIOTA
(2010-2012), Organizing Secretary of National Conference of AIOTA -2011 at Chennai.
(OTICON-2011).Organizing secretary of First state level inter college sports and cultural meet
among Tamilnadu Occupational therapy Colleges (2018) . Co- Author of Theory of SIF
Mechanism. Member of Curriculum Development committee in Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical
University, Developed curriculum for BOT and MOT Degree Course (2010-2014 ).Developed
the tool of “ Learning Disability Screening Teacher Rating Scale”-2018.
He is serving as Volunteer for Physical and Occupational Therapy Treatment for Children With
Haemophillia , Haemophillic federation Of India, Trichy Chapter since February 2000. He has
published more than fifteen research articles in indexed journals
He has been in the Board of studies , PG and UG examiner panel in various universities such as
The Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University, SRM University, Saveetha University, Manipal
University, Annamalai University, Rani Ahalya University.
He has given guest lectures in state level, National level and university level conferences and
seminars. He has been awarded for his research work in state level conference, awarded for his
professional contribution and his service for the disabled.
