About Dr. Jyoti Mehta
My name is Dr. Jyoti Mehta. I belong to Himachal Pradesh. I did my Doctorate in
microbiology from Shoolini University of Biotechnology and Management Sciences located
at Solan District of Himachal Pradesh. First of all, I want to thanks my parents for letting me
pursue my dreams and make me eligible to get this award. I am profoundly grateful to Dr.
Kamal Dev, who guided me throughout 4 years of Ph. D. degree and having faith on me. He
helped me in paper publication, patent filing and I learned many more from him. I believe
that honesty, loyalty, positive attitude and passion towards your work will help you to reach
the level you deserve. I love to travel, shopping, partake in outdoor activities, and find new
adventures along the way.
Currently I am working as an Assistant Professor in Uttaranchal College of Science and
Technology located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand since 2018. I also guided M. Sc Microbiology
students in their research work for their dissertation and helped them in their publications and
wherever they need my help.
These days covid-19 is an infectious disease that become most emerging and rapidly evolving
situation throughout the world. I stayed at home during this situation and support my
