Arun Kumar Gupta holds a Master's degree in Food Science and Technology by the Pondicherry University with Gold medal and is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Food Engg. And Technology, Tezpur University, where he furthers his research on “Fabrication of Sensor for maturity determination of Pomelo fruit and Development of a Laboratory- scale Debittering device for Citrus juice” under the guidance of Dr. Poonam Mishra. He is a lifetime member of the Association of Food Scientists & Technologists (India), International Society of Food Engineering and a student member of the Institute of Scholar. In addition, he is the recipient of the National summer research

fellowship jointly offered by INSA, IASC, and NASI. He has qualified UGC-NET and ASRB-NET. He has received Best poster award, Best oral award, and Young investigator award in several national conferences. He is the recipient of the NF-OBC fellowship for Ph.D. He has several academic achievement awards and recognitions for various activities including souvenir design, science quiz, best innovative idea, slogan writing, poem recitation etc. He has attended several international and national conferences organized by IIFPT, Pondicherry university and Tezpur University. His one of the

research work got accepted in upcoming IFT20, Chicago for poster presentation. He has major 3 publications in national and international journals, 4 book chapters (CRC press), and 2 proceedings in national seminars.
