About Dr. Rajashekhar Choudhari
Dr. Rajashekhar Choudhari, born on November 15, 1992, at Vijayapura, Karnataka, did his
Bachelor of Science (2013) and Master of Science (2015) from S. B. Arts and K.C.P. Science College, Vijayapura and Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, respectively. Later, he obtained his Ph.D. from Manipal Academy of Higher education under the guidance of Dr. Manjunatha Gudekote by grabbing the prestigious T. M. A. Pai scholarship for the period of three and half years (2015-2019). During his research period, he recieved many awards for publishing several articles in high reputed impact factor (JCR) journals indexed by the science citation index. He won the best Ph.D. Poster in the Ph.D. poster presentation competition 2019 held by MAHE, Manipal, on April 2, 2019. In addition to that, he won the PRAISE award for two consecutive years for publishing research work in Scopus/Web of Science indexed journal during the year 2017-18 and 2018-19. Further, he has been awarded IMRF Young Scientist Award in recognition of his consistent superior performance in Mathematics on the eve of
IMRF’s 100th International Conference at Carmel College for Women, Goa in the year
2019. Currently, he is working as a research assistant under the Bhaskaracharya Study chair, which was established by the Government of Karnataka in Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women’s University, Vijayapura in the year 2015 by sanction the grant amount of Rs. 1.00 Crore. Also, by the direction of Honorable Vice-Chancellor, KSAWU, Vijayapura, he is looking after the works related to the Sub Regional Science Center and Mini-Planetarium (SRSC) Vijayapura. He is an active researcher in the field of fluid mechanics, Biomechanics, Mathematical Modelling, Applied Mathematics, Mathematical Physics, Mathematical Chemistry, Mathematical Biology, Analytical, Semi-Analytical, Numerical Methods. Further, he has published over 30 papers indexed by Scopus and Web of Science during his Ph.D. tenure. Besides this, he is the brand ambassador from India for Bentham publishers and an editorial board member of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Further, he is a potential reviewer for the Journal of Mechanical Science and Technology (Springer, IF=1.194, Scopus/SCI), Latin American Applied Research (ESCI), and International Journal of Heat and Technology (IIETA, SNIP=1.051, Scopus/ESCI).
