About Dr. A. RameshKumar:
Having born with
the ultimate ambition that whatever be the odds, obstacles or even obstructions
determined to walk on red carpet, I am happy to introduce myself as Dr. A
Rameshkumar from Gobi. It is a town in the Erode district of Tamil Nadu. I was
born on 4th November 1966 at Coimbatore and aged 50 years. I did my
schooling in a renowned educational institution at Komarapalayam and secured
prizes for proficiency during my school curriculum. I did my under-graduation
in Electrical Engineering between the year 1984 and 1988 at Kumaraguru College
of Technology, Coimbatore and secured degree in First class and I was in the
role of honour. I completed post-graduation on part time basis on Applied
Electronics at Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore in 1996 in First
class and I completed my doctoral degree from Anna University, Chennai on
Control in Power Electronics in March 2013. I have published 17 papers as on
date and have recently published a book on my research manuscript through
Lambert Academic Publishing House, Germany. I pursued a career in teaching in
Govt. Polytechnic at Trichy in 1990 in order to communicate knowledge, impart
skills and to inculcate values to effect permanent change in behavior of the
student community. I worked in various polytechnic institutions in the state of
Tamilnadu for six - and - a – half (6.5)years and decided to work in
engineering institutions for better career and life. I have worked in three
different engineering institutions in the state of Tamilnadu at diverse
positions in cadre and gained nearly 17 years of experience in teaching.I did
organize industrial visit, implant training, workshops on personality
development& emerging areas in engineering, national level technical
symposiums and conferences in order to serve the student community meaningfully
and for wider publicity of the institutions. I am currently associated with
Surendra Institute of Engineering and Management at Siliguri in the state of
West Bengal as an Academic Head and I work towards the vision of the
institution and through unwavering commitment strive to develop the human
resource in terms of enhancement of individual and team skills through focused
training, development programs, regular appraisals and rewards.I maintain
healthy interaction with industrial organizations to make the teaching –
learning process more successful and logical; and to facilitate career
opportunities for the students.I also periodically review and analyze every
aspect of the institution and initiate corrective action and I am capable of
building brand image by adopting various measures and enable the college to be
profitable on a sustainable basis.I have become a member in various
professional bodies such as IEEE (USA), ISTE, IETE, IE (India), IRED (USA) and
IAE (Hong Kong). I was married to Mrs. V. Ganga in the year 1997 and have been
blessed with a son and a daughter. My son A R Kheshangvar is at twelfth
standard and my daughter A R Vhasnsciani is at tenth standard at Delhi Public
School(DPS), Siliguri. So, to say about myself, I aspire for a bright future
and strive hard for better living and wish to be always better than the best.
