Zilla School. I have successfully completed Bachelor of Engineering in Production
Engineering in 2007 from Jadavpur University, West Bengal, India. I have also completed
Master of Technology in Material Engineering specialization from Metallurgical and Material
Engineering Department, Jadavpur University in 2009 with GATE scholarship. After post-
graduation I have worked as full time research fellow under the scheme of ‘UGC-Research
Fellowship in Science for Meritorious Students 2008-09’ since June 2009 to May 2011. I have worked regularly as a full time senior research fellow since May 2011 under the scheme of ‘Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) – Direct Fellow’ for pursuing Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Pravash Chandra Chakraborti and Dr. Amrita Kundu, Metallurgical and Material Engineering Department, Jadavpur University. I have also worked as senior research fellow under the scheme of ‘Centre of Excellence in Phase Transformation and Product Characterization, TEQIP Phase – II’ since September, 2014 to March, 2017.
After March, 2017 I have worked as senior research fellow under the scheme of ‘Rajiv
Gandhi National Fellowship (New Delhi)’ till November, 2018. I have successfully awarded
the Ph.D. degree in Engineering in December, 2018 from Jadavpur University. After
awarding Ph.D. degree I have also worked as Post-doctoral Research Associate in the
scheme of ‘Generation of Creep-Fatigue Interaction Properties of Alloy 617 (National Mission Programme on Advanced Ultra Supercritical Technology funded by IGCAR, Kalpakkam)’ in Metallurgical and Material Engineering Department, Jadavpur University from January, 2019 to September, 2019. Presently, I have been working as Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department, Shobhit Deemed to-be University, Meerut, Delhi NCR from September, 2019. By now I have published 13 journal papers. I am proficient in performing all kind of tensile and cyclic tests at room, elevated and cryogenic temperatures. I am also proficient in carrying out High Cycle Fatigue (HCF), Pre- cracking and Fatigue Crack Growth Rate (FCGR) tests, Fracture Mechanics tests, Creep Fatigue Interaction (CFI), Ratcheting and Creep Crack Growth (CCG) tests. I am also efficient in Optical Microscopy (OM) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). I have acquired very good knowledge in the field of Mechanical Metallurgy and hands-on experienced in Mechanical Testing. I sincerely believe that I can be entrusted with any kind of research work independently on my field of research area with strict timelines and deliverables.
