About Dr. Mudasir Ahmad Wani
Dr. Mudasir Ahmad Wani is currently working as a Post-doctorate researcher at the Department of Information Security and Communication Technology (IIK), Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway.
Mudasir Ahmad Wani is an alumnus of International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT-B). He studied bachelors (in Computer Applications), Masters (in Computer Applications) and M.Phil (Data Mining) from University of Kashmir (UoK) in 2009, 2012 and 2014 respectively. He did his doctoral (Ph.D.) studies at the Department of Computer Science, Jamia Millia Islamia (A Central University), New Delhi, in 2109 and has several research publications of international repute. He has more than 6 years of research experience from different academic institutes with focus on information extraction, fake profile detection and machine learning. His current research focuses on extraction and analysis of Social Media Data, Natural Language Processing, Emotion Mining, and the application of machine learning techniques in designing and developing systems to understand, detect, predict, anti-social behavior, thus building a better and safer social media space.
