Her areas of competence includetechnology law, international laws relating to energy, environment, trade and IPR cyber and media law. Nominated as the Convenor, Policy & Advocacy for IWN Andhra Pradesh for the year 2018-19, the India Women Network Chapter of CII (Confederation of Indian Industries) she is a recipient of three national awards namely The Indo Global Excellence Award in Law 2017 from the IGCCIA, The Environment Protection & Development Award 2017 from the World Clean Environment Congress and World Achievers Award In Law And Social Justice, 2017 from the World Achiever’s Foundation and the Pradhanmantri Jan Kalyankari Yojana 2020 from Prachar Prasar Abhiyaan of Uttarakhand State.
She is a member and active contributor to ISIL (Indian Society of International Law), IIPA (Indian Institute of Public Administration), ICADR (International Council for Alternate Dispute Resolution), IAWS (Indian Association for Women's Studies), SASCV (South Asian Society of Criminology and Victimology), the CySI(Cyber Society of India), and is the Co-Founder of Green Face NGO having participated in over fifty international and national conferences in India and abroad as a invited delegate and speaker with over twenty publications in recognized journals and magazines. She has expertise as Management representative for the ISO quality and environmental audits. She is currently working on two of her books “Strategies and Recent Trends in Legal Research” and “Technology and Medical Laws in the Digital Era” and her book “Environment of Sustainability” is due for publication shortly. She has also penned a student book on “Transfer of Property” and “Environmental Laws” due for publication. She is actively promoting the protection and conservation of Biodiversity and is associated with the Uttarakhand Biodiversity Board in this endeavor from her organization. A serious hobbyist on the cultural front, Priya is a trained Kathak dancer for around two decades and had performed extensively both in India and abroad, a Carnatic vocalist, an oil-artist besides being a recognized poet and translator. She organized many a fine art and performing art events in India and abroad since 1998 and is the Founder-Secretary of Antarmukha Society for Creative Art & Culture. The feather to her cap is the translation from Telugu to English of Yogam, Dhyanam, Gnanam a book on Advaita philosophy. Currently she is employed in the role of a legal academician associated with Law College Dehradun, Faculty of Uttaranchal University from where she is pursuing her next doctoral degree in the inter- disciplinary area environment and law in the perspective of protection of traditional knowledge anda visiting professor in different colleges and universities in India; Partner-Director of a law firm Legal Labs LLP, Co- Founder of Green Face, an Environmental NGO and Founder-Secretary of Antarmukha Society for Creative Art & Culture, founder of CARES-- Compliance, Assessment and Regulation of Environmental Safety. The role she takes the most pride in is that of a mother of her three children, her two angels 19 & 17 and her son who is a toddler of 4.
