About Dr. K. Krishna Kumar
Dr. K. Krishna kumar obtained his B.Pharm and M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal (MCOPS), Mangalore University and Doctoral degree in pharmaceutical Sciences from SRIPMS Coimbatore under The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai. He took his master’s diploma in pharmaceutical management (M.D.P.M) from IPER Pune. He has 25 years of teaching and research experience. He is the Principal of St James College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chalakudy, Kerala for past 15 years. He elected as senate member of Kerala University of Health Sciences representing the Principal of Affiliated Private Pharmacy Colleges. He is elected as Hon. Secretary of Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Kerala branch and Kerala State Pharmacy Graduates Association (KPGA). He is also the Kerala state coordinator of Indian pharmaceutical association education division of National Elocution Competition (NEC). He was the controller of examination of Kerala State Self Financing Pharmacy
College Management Association (KSSPCMA) from 2006 to 2015. He is the member of inspection panel of PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) and Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. He is member in various governing bodies. He is a member in board of studies at Kannoor University and also an executive member of national IPA education division. He has received the best outgoing student award for M.Pharm in 1993 from Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences. He is honored with Distinguished Alumni Award from College of Pharmaceutical Sciences; Manipal. He is awarded with “Best Pharmacist” Award from Kerala State Pharmacy Council in the year 2015. He got best presenter award during 2 nd national convention of pharmacy educators, March 2006 at SRIPMS,Coimbatore To his credit he has 185 research papers published in well reputed national and international journals. He has organized many government bodies funded conferences / seminars /workshops and participates as a resource person in the many seminars /conferences. He published two e-books in Lambert Academic Publisher, Germany and two e-books in Nikhil Gupta Publisher, New Delhi. He is the Principal Investigator of research Projects funded by Indian Medical Council of Research, New Delhi. He is also a life member APTI, IPA, and KPGA.
