Dr V S Giridhar Akula has obtained PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur. He obtained BE and M Tech degrees in Computer Science and Engineering. He is put up with 24 years of teaching and 2 years industry experience. He has discharged duties as Head of the department, Vice principal and presently working as Professor and Principal at Methodist College of Engineering and Technology, Abids,Hyderabad, India. He worked as software engineer for Indira Gandhi National Center for Arts , Janpath, New Delhi. He is a life member of ISTE, IEEE, Member of Tech Republic(USA), Member of Computer Science Teacher’s Association, USA, Member of International Association of Engineers, Member of Zenith Computer Society, Senior member of International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology, Singapore, Member of Indian Computer Education Society, Member of Internet Society, Member of Academy & Industry Research Collaboration Center. (AIRCC), Member of National association of Social Workers, Member of European Alliance for Innovation (EAI)'s ICST.. He has authored 8 text books and editorial board member for 8 national and 24 International Journals. Published 63 technical papers in National and International Journals. Prof Giridhar is the director for International association of Journals and Conferences. His areas of interest include digital image processing, ubiquous computing, and network security. He is the BOS member for 4 universities and PhD Panel examiner for 5 universities. He authored 3 book chapters for national and international publishers.
Dr Giridhar has
organized 4 International Conferences and working as conference Chair for many
International Conferences. He is the reviewer for 27 International Journals and
Conferences.
