About Dr. Shilpi Bhattacharya
Dr. Shilpi Bhattacharya is a professor in Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Department of English at Kalinga University. She is M.A., M.Phil and Ph.D in English. Her area of expertise is Linguistics and American literature. She has over 18 years of versatile experience in Teaching, Administration and Research. She has the experience of working in capacities like Dean, Head of the Department, OSD (Ph. D Cell), core committee member of IQAC, chairperson BOS, Chairperson Board of Examination etc. She is the President of English Language Teachers’ Association of India(ELTAI), Raipur chapter. She is the editor of one research journal and review Committee member of three Peer-reviewed National Journal. She received three best paper awards for her research work. She received Certificate of Appreciation for Global Understanding from East Carolina University. She is the convenor of four National Conferences. She has communicated 27 research papers in various national and international conferences. She has the merit of publishing 18 quality research papers-ISSN bearing referred national and international journals and merit of publishing 01 book from international publisher and 02 chapters contributed in anthology on Nobel Laureates. She Chaired technical sessions in seven National and International conferences and delivered invited talks in various Faculty Development Sessions. She was invited as resource person in various national conferences. She successfully completed 01 mini research project on English Language Acquisition and 01 consultancy Project. 01 Ph.D and 08 M.Phil scholars are awarded under her supervision. 01 Ph.D. thesis is submitted under her supervision. She is invited in various universities pan India as External Examiner for Ph.D. final defense.
