About Dr. Pushpendra Kannojia
Prof. (Dr.) P. Kannojia has nearly 15 years of research and teaching experience at both U.G. and P.G. levels. I have completed my MBA (Human Resource) From National Institute of Management a Certified International B-School, through Distance education programe in 2007-2008. Also successfully completed diploma course in Tifac Core Research Programme (TCRP) named Clinical Research & BA/BE Studies from B.R.Nahata College of Pharmacy, Mandsaur (M.P.). I have started my career as an Assistant Professor at TIT Pharnacy, Bhopal (M.P.) and worked for a period of nearly two years with leading academicians and a dynamic researcher of national repute. I did my doctoral research at the Defence Research and Development Establishment (DRDE), Jiwaji University Gwalior (M.P.) under the supervision of Dr.R.Vijayraghavan, Former Director, a renowned Pharmacologist and an outstanding Scientist of National and International repute and Prof. (Dr). Suman jain, Director, SOS in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Jiwaji University, Gwalior. I have supervised 18 M.Pharm candidates and in current supervising 08 PhD candidates. Research projects - Worked as Investigator and co-investigator for research projects funded by state and national level funding agencies as well as successfully completed the research projects from reputed Pharmaceutical Company. I have successfully completed the research project of herbal samples sanctioned from Arjuna Natural Extracts Limited, Alwaye, Kerala. I have also worked as co- investigator in Three research projects sanctioned from state funding agency Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. I have over 35 research publications published in international and national journals of repute. I have been awarded for “Excellency in Research-2018, in an International Conference on Innovation in Pharmaceutical, Medical and Bio-Sciences (ICIPMBS-2018), Indore (M.P.). Besides academic activities, I have been involved in other activities like Organizing National, International level conferences, seminars, workshops etc. Successfully attended the Two weeks Staff Development Programme in 2009, funded by AICTE, New Delhi. Associated as Co-ordinator in International conference of AIAER on “Learning community for global education reform” at Institute of professional studies Gwalior, M.P., India. Organized as a secretary and coordinator, 04 National conferences, 01 symposium and 02 Workshops. I have delivered invited lectures, keynote addresses and chaired the sessions in National Conferences and Symposia. I am also holding the responsibility of Associate Editor in “Pharmacia: An International Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences’, an official publication of Institute of Professional Studies-College of Pharmacy, Gwalior. I have been an author and co-author in many review articles on Herbal drugs, Pharmacology, Diabetes and Pharmaceutical Research in National and International Journal of repute and written a chapter in proceedings as book of International conference. My research interest extends from herbal drugs used for the treatment of diabetes and its complications to the study of toxicity of newly synthesized insect repellents. Some 50 research abstracts have been published in various Proceedings of National and International conferences. I have life membership of various professional bodies like Indian Pharmacological Society (IPS), Association of Pharmacy Teachers of India (APTI), Member of State Pharmacy Council, Uttar Pradesh. At present I am working as an Professor & Principal at BIU College of Pharmacy, Bareilly (U.P.), India. I took very active interest in professional matters & is a member of Pharmacist Association in Uttar Pradesh. Round the year I keep searching online about the academic activities going on around us. Recently many webinars, lectures (Online) and training programs are being attended by me on Covid – 19.
