About Dr. Pradeep Prakashrao Thorat
Dr. Pradeep Prakashrao Thorat has completed Ph.D in Food Technology from College of Food Technology, VNMKV, Parbhani. He has qualified ASRB NET in the year 2017. Currently, he is pursuing L.L.B (Law) form SRTMU, Nanded. He has 10 Month experience as Senior Research assistant in MIP College of Food Technology, Aundha (Nag), Hingoli, Maharashtra. He worked for a period of one year as an Assistant Professor and also handled the charge as a Principal at LGM College of Food Technology, Latur. Now, he is currently working as Assistant Professor and handling charge as a Principal in MIP college of Food Technology, Aundha (Nag), Hingoli, (Maharashtra). He was also member of Board of Studies in Bachelor of Vocational Studies (B.Voc.) in food processing, preservation and storage at Maharashtra Mahavidyalaya, Nilanga, Latur, (Maharashtra). He has published more than 15 popular articles related to Food Processing in Agrowon Daily newspaper and various Marathi magazines in Maharashtra. He has also published review articles and research paper in various national and international journals and has participated in conferences organized at national and international level. He has published the book entitled “Food Preservative Techniques” which overviews on preservative techniques applied in the food technology. He has guided B. Tech (Food Technology) final year students in their ELP projects. He is running YouTube channel “NutraFoods” for increasing the awareness of food safety and daily diet.
