About Rajat Sharma
Mr. Rajat Sharma was born in village Kharmasa, Kashipur, Uttarakhand at 10-July-1994. He is currently pursuing Doctoral of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Horticulture from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand on the Drip Irrigation aspect in Litchi. He completed his bachelor of science (B.Sc.) in horticulture in 2016 from V.C.S.G. Uttarakhand University of Horticulture and Forestry, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. After completion of graduation he took admission through University entrance exam (2016) in Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Agriculture (Horticulture) in G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. In M.Sc. (2016-2018) he studied the “Relative performance of chip and T-budding over tongue grafting in peach (Prunus persica (L.) Batsch) cv. Shan-e-Punjab”. He has 4 publication in national and international journals and has several popular articles in his credit. He has presented research paper and several practical topics in national and international conferences. For his work on “Relative performance of chip and T-budding over tongue grafting in peach (Prunus persica (L.) Batsch) cv. Shan-e-Punjab”, he has been awarded with Best Master Thesis Award-2019 by Agricultural Technology Development Society (ATDS) in 2019 in 3 rd International Conference “Global Initiative in Agricultural and Applied Sciences for Eco Friendly Environment (GAISE) during 16-18 June, 2019.
