About Dr. Sudhir Singh
He did his schooling from St. Johns School,Varanasi in 1982.
He did his MBBS ,MS in General Surgery, MCh in Plastic Surgery from IMS BHU, Varanasi.
Dr. Singh has also received APSI RG Saraiya International Fellowship award.
He has been trained at premier institutions of USA, Taiwan,Thailand and Australia specially in microsurgery, cosmetic surgery, maxillofacial surgery, oncoplastic surgery, sex change surgery and Burns management.
He is also the recepient of ICMR Fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery,
FHNO Fellowship in Head And Neck Cancer Reconstruction Surgery.
He has been visiting international scholar at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital at Republic Of China.
He is trained for all types of aesthetic surgery,microsurgery,maxillofacial surgery and Sex Change Operations and has done lot of cases successfully.
He is also recipient of Fellowship in sex reassignment operations at Thailand.
He is also the recepient of FIAMS, KASHI RATNA,etc.
He is the member of many medical bodies like National Academy of Burns of India (NABI), Association of Plastic Surgeons Of India (APSI), Indian Peripheral Nerve Surgery (IPNS), Lymphology Society of India(LSI), Indian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons(IAAPS), Foundation Of Head And Neck Surgery (FHNO),etc.
He had been past president of Indo-Nepal Association of Peripheral Nerve surgery2013-2015.
He has been the past president of Varanasi Chapter of International Society of Lymphology, etc.
He is associated with many social activities specially of Lions clubs international. He has been three times president of Lions Club inVaranasi, two times zonal chairpersons and chairmen of two projects in different years.
A documentary on ‘Stolen Face – struggle for revival’ under the banner of District 321E of Lions Clubs International was launched five years ago.
He is the initiator of Burn Awareness project and Post Burn Contracture free treatment project under Lions clubs banner.
His hobby is photography in which he has bagged many awards.
Written novels like Valour And Fraility and Intrigue- The mystery of last wish.
Areas of special interest: Burns Management, Oncoplastic Head & Neck Surgery, Wound care especially diabetic foot, cosmetic surgery and Lymphology are his areas of special interest.
Recently he has been made member of Arab Association Of Surgicals And Medical Aesthetics(AASMA) based in UAE and is affiliated with Saudi Plastic Surgery Care Society ( SPSCS ) & Emirates Plastic Surgery Society (EPSS).
He is also the active member of International Society Of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS) based in USA.
Current Year 2019-2020 acheivements:
• He is presently President of Varanasi Chapter of Association Of Surgeons Of India and Varanasi
Surgical Society 2019-2020.
• Coducted many CMEs like Burn Update 2020 on 1 st Feb. 2020, Peripheral nerve surgery oration at
Taj on 7 th Feb. 2020, etc.
• Gave talk on Clinical efficacy of Nanocrystalline SILVER And Collagen In Burn Dressing at National Academy Of Burns 2019.
• He conducted International workshop on craniofacial plating system in Varanasi in 2019 with help of SGPGI, Lucknow.
• He is also District Chairman of Lions Clubs International District 321E Rehabilitation Service Project 2019-2020.
• He has been awarded with very prestigious V Mahadevan Award by International College Of Surgeons for best research papers for consecutive two years 2018 and 2019 in a single row.
• He was conferred with FICS i.e. Fellow Of International College Of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery in
2019.
• He was also awarded with very prestigious IMA Dr. B R Ramasubramanian Oration award which he delivered in NATCON2019 meet in Kolkotta on 28th Dec. 2019.
• He has been conferred with Honorary Professorship 2019 on wards by Indian Medical
Association(Academy Of Medical Specialities-IMA) head quarters for his exceptional contribution in medical field.
• He is also elected as central committee representative of IMA 2019-2020.
• He was also the state council member of Indian Medical Association 2018-2019.
• He was also the recipient of Indian Health Professional Award 2018 for his work on Plastic
Surgery.
• He has given many guest lectures at different forums including CME programs and conferences.
