Dr. Vinay Kumar Singh is the Information Officer at the Centre for Bioinformatics, School of Biotechnology, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He was born on September 9, 1982, in Nandganj, District Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, India. Dr. Singh completed his education with a B.Sc. in BZC from Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur in 2002, an M.Sc. in Bioinformatics from Sikkim Manipal University of Health Medical and Technological Sciences, Gangtok in 2005, and a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in 2015. Prior to his current role, Dr. Singh held positions such as Bioinformatics Teaching Assistantship at Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat, Himachal Pradesh from 2005 to 2006, and Bioinformatics Teaching Personnel and Junior Research Fellow at Govind Ballabh Pant University of Technology and Agriculture (GBPUAT), Udham Singh Nagar, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand from 2006 to 2009. Dr. Vinay Kumar Singh is a respected member of various prestigious societies and has received numerous awards and honors for his contributions to the field of bioinformatics and education.
