About Dr. Nabanita Mukherjee
I am Dr. Nabanita Mukherjee, a dental surgeon and presently pursuing MBA in Health and Hospital Management from IIHMR University, Jaipur. I can describe myself as a brilliant mind with lots of creativity. Since childhood, I have been an elite student in academics. I had received several awards and scholarships throughout my academic years at school. In my dentistry years, I have been closely associated with the research work of the professors in my college. Since my under-graduation days, I had keen interest in the research domain. The reason for taking admission in IIHMR University for my post-graduation was only because, the excellence of this university in the field of research and development. This year under the guidance of my mentor, I took this initiative towards researching in the field of COVID-19 with an intention to contribute towards the present knowledge about this disease. After the successful completion of my research work, I am satisfied with the quality of results I could bring in light, in context of the ongoing pandemic. My research paper was published in the International Journal of Advanced Education and Research titled as “Knowledge, Attitude and Perceived Effectiveness about Social Distancing during COVID-19”. The paper outlined the importance of public health mitigation strategies like social distancing in fighting against COVID-19 and also the awareness, acceptability and barriers in imposing the method of social distancing on the population of India. This paper received good number of recommendations in the Research Gate. In my career ahead, I wish to indulge as a research analyst and produce quality research work in the field of healthcare.
