About Pranav Tripathi

Mr. Pranav Tripathi is a Senior Research Fellow at Motilal Nehru National Institute of
Technology (MNNIT) Allahabad, Prayagraj, who submitted his PhD thesis in the year 2020. Hereceived his B. Tech degree in Biotechnology from Amity University Uttar Pradesh, India in 2012 and her M.Tech degree in Biotechnology from Govind Ballabh Pant Insitute of Engineering and Technology (Formerly Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering College) Pauri-Garhwal, Uttarakhand, India in 2014. He qualified National Eligibility Test (organized by CSIR New Delhi) in December 2014 (NET-JRF), National Eligibility Test (organized by ICAR, New Delhi) in December 2014 (NET) and GATE Examination (Biotechnology) in 2012 and 2013. He is currently working as a doctoral student in the Department of Biotechnology, MNNIT Allahabad since January 2015. His main research area includes point of care diagnostics, Nanobiotechnology, molecular biology, assay development, assay validation, translational biotechnology, and analytical sensors. He has been awarded ‘Carl Storm International diversity funding’ to attend GRC RNA Nanotechnology, USA in January 2019, best poster presentation in BioSangam 2018 held at MNNIT Allahabad and an 'InnoCentive award’ for his solution entitled ‘alternative to antibiotics’. His publication base comprises of 4 patents, 5 peer-reviewed publications and 3 book chapters since 2016.
