About Sakti Prasad Mishra
Mr. Sakti Prasad Mishra was born in the year of 1992 at Rupadeipur village belong to Puri district of Odisha, India. His parents are Smt. Swarnalata Mishra and Sri. Sudhir Kumar Mishra. He has completed his primary and high school education in his village. After passing intermediate studies he has chosen to study B. Sc. (Physics) and taken admission in the prestigious institute named Samanta Chandra Sekhara (Autonomous) College, Puri which is affiliated to Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. He has completed his Bachelor of Science degree in 2012 with Physics honours in first class honours with distinction. He has completed his Master of Science degree in 2014 from Fakir Mohan University, Balasore in first division with ballistics specialisation. In the year of 2015 he has received the degree of Master of Philosophy in Physics from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla, Sambalpur. He took admission in Ph. D. (Physics) in 2017 at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla, Sambalpur. He is working in the field of material science under the direct supervision of Dr. Ganeswar Nath, Associate Professor of Physics, VSSUT, Burla. His Ph. D. topic is “Study on synthesis and characterisation of acoustic and microwave absorbing materials”. He has participated in 9 international and 7 national conferences, 5 workshops, 5 webinars and 1 faculty development programme. He has delivered 6 oral and 7 poster presentations in various national and international seminars and conferences. He was member of local organising committee and technical supporter of 4 national conferences. He is the life member of Ultrasonic Society of India (Membership No.: LM: 350). He has received best poster award in 47 th National Symposium on Acoustics (NSA-2019) held during 17th - 19th October 2019 at Ravenshaw University, Cuttack, Odisha, India. He has honoured the title of best paper award in 13th Western Pacific Acoustic Conference (WESPAC-2018) from 11th - 15th November 2018 at CSIR-NPL, New Delhi, India. He got the first prize for poster presentation in International Conference on Reuse and Recycling Materials (ICRM-2018) held at Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, India during 9th - 11th March 2018. His research work has been published in 3 reputed journals, 8 conference proceedings and 2 book chapters. He has 5 years of teaching experience and currently he is working as a lecturer of Physics in Aims College of +3 Science, Sambalpur, Odisha.
