About Rinky Ghosh

I am Rinky Ghosh from Kolkata, India, currently working as a Senior Project Associate at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. I have few publications in the reputed journal of Elsevier and Apple Academic Press. Moreover, I have 3 years of research experience in reputed government organizations and expert knowledge in the field of Coatings/composites, packaging, and energy harvesting applications. I hold a BSc degree with honours in chemistry (2011-2014) from the West Bengal State University and an MSc degree, specialization in Polymer Science (2015-2017) with the first class with distinction from the CIPET Ahmedabad, Gujarat University, INDIA.
I have done my dissertation in “Transparent wood composites used for Glass windows and solar panels” and had received the best poster presentation at the national level event, Affinity and Confluence at MIT Pune, INDIA. I have presented an oral presentation titled- “Graphene composite keep the airplane wings ice-free “at National level event Affinity and Confluence 2017, MIT Pune, India. I had been invited in Fourth International Conference on Nanomaterial’s: Synthesis, Characterization, and Applications (ICN 2019), for short invited lecture titled “Nanoscale tailoring of balsa wood- A novel material used in photovoltaic cells and glass windows as promising applications in building materials” and got awarded with a token of memento. I had attended many National workshop and training program on ‘polymer technology’.
Apart from studies, I also worked as a Project Assistant in the ‘National Aerospace
Laboratories’, Bangalore, India, and did intense research upon development of “Radar
Absorbing Materials and Piezoelectric materials for Aircraft Applications”. I have
experienced in the multidisciplinary fields of material science.
