About Devarenjan J
J.Devarenjan hails from Karungal, a village in Kanyakumari District. He hascompleted BE in Mechanical Engineering from St.Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering,affiliated to Anna University Chennai.He is interested in Design and Development, Manufacturing and also AutomobileEngineering. He is proficient with ample software packages of AutoCAD, Catia, Ansys,Inventor and basics of C. He is the author of four papers and published international journalsand keeps on counting. He has done four projects till date which includes ProductivityImprovement in Brakeline Air-leak Testing machine at Ashok Leyland Ltd, Chennai; WaterLevel Identification and Control of Water supply switch using IOT, which was funded byTamilnadu Sate Council for Science and Technology, DOTE Campus Chennai; and also twoother projects for the development of the society.He has under gone an industrial training from TVS Training and Services, aninternship in Goodwin Industries, Chennai, In-plant training in Nova Carbons Pvt. Ltd.Gangaikondan, an internship with Elite Techno Groups and a project with Ashok Leyland,Ennore, Chennai. He has also visited various industries such as Neyveli Lignite Corporation,MothersonPvt.Ltd., ISRO Thumba, Government Fertilizer Company, Kochi during hiscollege days.He has obtained Elite for the courses conducted by IIT Roorkee and IIT Guwahati. Heis also a recipient of Six Sigma White Belt from CSSC. He has also completed fourteencourses from leading universities and organisations such as University of Michigan,University of Toronto, University System of Georgia, Stanford University, Google, HiltekRobotics Research Centre Pvt. Ltd. etc.He is also an active member in ISTE, IFERP and SAE. Being an NSS volunteer hehas attended a camp. He has delivered many motivational talks to the fellow and juniorstudents. He has also organised a National Level Symposium and an EntrepreneurshipDevelopment Program for three days. He has attended around twenty Workshops andWebinars from IIT Madras, GCT Coimbatore, MIT Chennai and also from the colleges in thevicinity of Nagercoil. He also took part in various competitions and has won several prizesfor paper presentation, engine assembly, technical talk, and lathe machining.During his college days he held many positions of responsibilities such as ExecutiveMember for the Department association, Secretary in Entrepreneurship Development Cell,Team Lead for Projects, and Volunteer in NSS.Tamil being his Mother tongue, he is proficient with English and Malayalam too. Hispersonal Attributes include leadership qualities, team worker and an ardent speaker.
