“One who dares to teach should never seas to learn”
A teacher is a person who teaches students and children. Teachers play an immensely important role in the overall development of a student. Sometimes they also act as a counselor for students. A teacher's service is selfless according to me.
Learning innovative ideas of teaching-learning process like through dramatization, singing and dancing is my interest. Being a theatre artist, I wish "Theatre in Education" be part of curriculum as it has its importance in achieving all-round development of the child.
I follow the following important points (according to me) in teaching-learning process during class:
1. I create and maintain an atmosphere for learning by encouraging pupils to express and examine their ideas, opinions and values.
2. I provide a motivational environment for my students with a conscious belief that certain aspects of teacher’s performance such as drama and tonality of voice affect student’s motivation.
3. I maintain a judicious balance between teacher-centered and pupil-centered activities and endeavor to invoice every pupil in the activity of each class.
4. I use effective questioning techniques and accepts answers and provide correction if any in such a way as to encourage further student participation.
5. I use techniques that make clear the purpose and content of each lesson and emphasize clearly the important points in a lesson.
6. My classroom procedures are designed to develop a positive learning environment and student’s self-discipline.
