About Vivek Shukla
Its matter of great pleasure for becoming a member of the Institute of Scholars (InSc). I am greatly honored to receive the Young Researcher Award 2020. I see myself as a dedicated researcher concerned with exploring various nano-materials for hydrogen storage (metal hydride). I have more than six years of research experience and working for the hydrogen economy reliable to society. I was born and brought up in the famous Ayodhya U.P. where I finish my matric and post-matric. I have completed my schooling from Government inter-college, Faizabad, India. After completing 12th I took admission to KS Saket P.G. college College Ayodhaya affiliated to the Avadh University UP, India to pursue B.Sc. (Physics, Math)
in the year 2010. Thereafter, I became a master’s student (Physics) at the University of Allahabad, India. After did my master & in 2012, I joined the lab as a Junior research fellow with famous Hydrogen Man Professor Onkar Nath Srivastava lab in 2013 at Banaras Hindu University India. I continued my research under him. His research guidance and his ability to teach students I think is the best laboratory in India. Currently, I am working as a CSIR- Senior Research Fellow at Hydrogen Energy Center, Dept of Physics, Banaras Hindu University India.
My research basically consists of exploring various metal hydrides that cover the elemental hydrides (MgH2), Intermetallics (ZrFe2, FeTi), Complex hydride (Li-Mg-N-H), and porous metal-organic framework (MOF) materials. I got the opportunity to present my research work in various national and international conferences at various places in India and abroad. In 2019, I got the opportunity to present my work in “WORLD HYDROGEN TECHNOLOGY CONVENTION (WHTC 2019)” held at Tokyo Japan. I also got the best oral presentation Award in National Conference on “Hydrogen Energy in Indian Perspective: Role of Nano Materials & at the Department of Physics, ISc, and BHU, India. I got awarded the Best Poster Presentation award in the National Conference on ANA-2018 held at the Department of Physics,
MNNIT Allahabad, UP. I have published more than 10 research paper of International repute whose impact factor range from 3.9 to 11. The total citation of my paper reached 201 with an h index of 6. I am thankful to my mentor, Padma Shree Prof. Onkar Nath Srivastava who provided me this valuable opportunity to work with their esteemed research group. Hopefully, I will carry out further research in the field of energy storage materials to bring out fruitful results and will be able to leave an impact on my work in the scientific community and humanity, as well.
