Dr. Brij Mohan Upreti, M.Sc. Ph D, FBSS
(b. May 7 1990; Khatima Uttarakhand, India) completed his Master in Botany in 2012 from DSB Campus, Kumaun University Nainital and Doctoral Degree (Ph. D.) in Botany from the same University in 2018. During academics he obtained NSS ‘A’.’B’ and ‘C’ certificates also. Dr. Brij Upreti presented 09 research papers in National and International conferences. Along with same, he attended more than 10 research conferences/training programs. He published 25 research papers in renowned International and National journals and he is author of 03 books also. He works in the area of Sacred forests, Plant Taxonomy, Ethnobiology, Ecology and Soil Science. He works as a research fellow for the research project entitled, ?Studies on Conservation of Ginkgo bilobalinn. (Ginkgoaceace): A rare exotic medicinal plant, funded by University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi (2012 -2015). He is Fellow of Bose Science Society and life member of Indian Science Congress (ISC), Indian Botanical Society(IBS) and Bose Science Society (BSS).Currently working as HoD Botany, Uttaranchal College of Science and Technology, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
