School of Biotechnology, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli-24, Tamil Nadu, India.
Presently, he is working as a Post-Doctoral Fellow (funded by DST-SERB) in the
Department of Microbiology, Pondicherry University (A Central University), Puducherry-14, India. He has 10 years of research experience and 3 years of academic activities. He is acting as a reviewer in several reputed journals. He has published more than 25 research articles in high impact journals. His area of the research field is mainly focusing on Evolutionary, and Structural Biology, Molecular Systems Engineering and Meta-genomics.
His current research work deals with the development of microbial cell factories and
bioprocess technology for producing biofuel, bio-refineries, probiotics, and recombinant therapeutics using in silico organisms. It is clearly facilitating the use of targeted genetic modifications in cell factories with desirable phenotypes to increase the production yield or robustness in the heterologous hosts.
He is one of the members of the biodiversity team at Bharathidasan University. Apart
from his research activities, he also has a keen interest in bringing out the activist regarding biodiversity information of the campus to the outside world and enriches its value by protecting the same. He contributing with good photographs depicting biodiversity of the campus and in identifying species, developing digital museums, research articles related to the context to connecting hands-on with other Biodiversity team members.
