About Mukul Bajpai

Myself Mukul Bajpai S/o Late Mr. Pradeep Kumar Bajpai born on 24 th September 1993 at Lucknow city in Uttar Pradesh. I did my high school and intermediate from Central Academy (CBSE) Lucknow. I have done my Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (2010-2014) from Babu Banarasi Das Northern India Institute of Technology (Recognized by AICTE, Govt. of India, affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University) and Masters in Environmental Engineering (2015-2017) from National Institute of Technology Hamirpur (NITH). Also I have worked as an Assistant Professor (2017-2018) in Civil Engineering Department at Chandigarh
University (Punjab). Currently I am pursuing my PhD in Environmental Engineering (Water and Wastewater Treatment) from NIT Hamirpur.
Talking about my strengths, I have excellent ability to work as an individual and as a team member. The hunger to keep on learning new things always keep me motivated and stay afloat against day to day hurdles of life. Also, adaptability to work in all conditions and having good communication and organizational skills, makes me ready to face any kind challenges put forward to me.
I participated in various intra and inter university cultural activities, trainings, projects and received several awards and certificates in which some of explicit awards and achievements are:
• Qualified Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2014 and 2015 with percentile of 89.59 and 94.58 respectively.
• MHRD Scholarship grant for 5 years to carry out research from 2018-2023.
• Undergone 30 days (2013) training in Construction of Retaining Walls from Public Work Department (PWD), Lucknow, UP.
• Certification in learning LATEX software (Mathematics Department, NIT Hamirpur).
• Certificate in attending short term course on Research Methodology (Humanities and Management Department, NIT Hamirpur).
• Certificate course in AUTOCAD (Computer Aided Design) in 2012 from SYNERGY i
DESIGN-Lucknow.
• Certificate in C - language from UPTEC in 2010.
• Successfully completed 1 year project on “Design of Net Zero Energy Sports Complex”, Lucknow (2013-2014). The features of this project includes: Structural Design, Solar panel system for electricity, Ventilation and Plantation of native plants and cool pavements.
• Successfully completed 1 year project on “Ascertaining quality of rooftop rainwater
harvesting in the building at NIT Hamirpur campus”. The main features of this project were: Calculation of water demand at NIT Hamirpur, Determining the rain water quality, Treatment of first flush rain water using natural adsorbent such as sugarcane bagasse, orange peel etc. and Designing of rain water harvesting system for hostels.
• Successfully organized Fine Arts event as Head coordinator for Buniyaad (Civil Department forum).
• Successfully coordinated Civil De Fiesta (2013) and Suryodaya (2012) at BBDNIIT Annual Civil Fest.
• Participated in the event Ganitomonia organized at BBD.
