Dr. Esther John is a Nursing Educationalist. She was the Best Outgoing Student in
M.Sc.,(N) at Sri Ramakrishna Paramedical Sciences, Coimbatore. Best Employee (Star Employee) in K.G. Hospital, Coimbatore. Best Teacher Award was conferred to Dr.Esther John, Principal Ganga College of Nursing by The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University on International Nurses Day, 2012. Dr. Esther John was awarded The Best Nurse Educator by Dr.Mannar Jawahar, The Honorary Vice Chancellor of Anna University in the Presence of Dr.Josphine Little Flower, Registrar
on 17thJuly, 2011. She received The Rajiv Gandhi Educational Excellence Award for the Educational Excellence Given by The International Institute of Education and Management at New Delhi On 3.10.13.“St. John’s Ambulance Best Service Award” given to Ganga College of Nursing in appreciating for rendering The Best Service in First Aid Training. Her attribute to the heart of her profession is vast. She holds the banner of nursing high. Most of the time Nurses are not recognized but she broke it by her energetic approach through providing visiting card and vehicle labels for nurses. She improves the professional image. She conducts National and International conferences and exposes nurses in Coimbatore to
International achievers. She fills the gap between Nursing Education and Nursing Service. She is recognized as a Best Nursing Leader by her students and faculty working in India and abroad. Ganga Institute of Health Sciences is her brain child. She is a renowned person around the city. She laid the foundation of the college on the year 2009. Under her leadership 10 courses emerged within 10 years. All these courses were brand newly budded course in India within this period. There is always a continual improvement every day in the institution leading to easy reach
of milestones. Milestones include getting Government orders to run a new course. Presentation of infrastructure which includes lecture classes and hospital wards that provides students the best clinical experience. She brings these novice students to the lime light of legend doctors and prepares these
students into a best professional. She finds opportunity to interacts with the parents of each students. Thus meeting their needs financially through scholarships. She improves faculty by inviting achievers and interacting with them. Every week there is a stress breaker. Faculty are insisted to do extra courses, Degrees based on their level of education.
