Kavit Mehta, Assistant Professor of Biotechnology at Faculty of Science- Ganpat University and He qualified CSIR-UGC NET life Science (Life Science) in Dec 2009, June 2010 and June 2011, GATE Biotechnology March 2010, GSET Life Science in 2013, and other state eligibility examinations and Recipient of JNU CEBB.
He has a wide spectrum of research interests Plant Molecular Biology, Plant
Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Statistics and Research Methodology in
Biological Science, including applied microbiology. With distinguished contributions as
marked by publications in prestigious journals i.e. Nature Microbiology, Elsevier, and
Springer etc. and six edited book chapter in Elsevier and one Instant Note of CSIR Life Science Book in lambert publishing house.
Dr.Kavit has won a series of awards and honors, including Ganpat University President
Award of research, DBT -Young Scientist Award and C.N. Rao Outstanding teacher award and many more. Recently He received Science &Technologycovid 19 project award. He served as editor, associate editor or advisory member for various prestigious journals.
He had more than 10 year’s teaching and research experience in field of biological
science. He has wide area of research interest in pharmaceutical biotechnology,plant
