Kunal Singha is currently working as Assistant Professor and course coordinator in Department of Textile Design at National Institute of Fashion Technology, Patna, India. He received his education at WBUT, (B.Tech), IIT Delhi (M.Tech) and IIT Kharagpur (Doctorate), India and his primary research work sustainable textile, quality, supply and manufacturing chain. Prior the period he has served as
Assistant Professor and linked head of the department for Department of Textile Engg. at PIET, Kukukshetra University. He has written more than eighty papers/book chapters/conference proceedings headed by many reputed national/international publishing house like-Wiley, Springers, Elsevier and Emerald etc. He has a recipient of MHRD, Govt of India scholarship and Govt. Of West Bengal, holder during Doctorate, M.Tech and B.Techacdemics. He had bagged silver medal and gold medal in Textile innovation and Young Symposium conference at GCETTS and IIT Delhi in 2007 and
2010 as best paper respectively. He is a member of Textile Association of India, Institute of Engineers and Society of Dyers & Colorists. He is also serving as editorial board member in American V-king publisher house and reviewer in few Springer publication headed journals. He has also edited one book
entitled ‘Recycling from Waste in Fashion and Textiles: A Sustainable and Circular Economic Approach’ in Wiley and Scrivener, Julu 2020. He is also editing a book on “Textile Dyes and Pigments: A Green Chemistry Approach” accepted from Wiley and Scrivener Publication, USA. He is also fit for the
book as he has taken lecture on Smart Textiles, Innovation in recent developments in textiles, Fibre to fabric for Under graduate and post graduate student for textile, fashion, management and also published research paper on the related to it.
