Department at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun, India. He received the Diploma in Engineering (Civil Engg.) degree in 2000, B. Tech (Civil Engg.) degree in
2004 and M. Tech (Hydraulic Engineering) in 2006 from Aligarh Muslim University,
Aligarh, India and Ph.D. (Civil Engg.) degree from the Indian Institute of Technology,
Roorkee, India in 2012. He worked in India as a senior research fellow at IITR, Roorkee,India on a research project entitled “Flow Characteristics of Trench Weir for Hydropower Intake” sponsored by Bureau of Technical Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (Department of Education), Govt. of India, New Delhi for around 02 years and as a faculty member for around 10 years. He has taught several core courses of Civil Engineering like Fluid Mechanics, Hydraulics and Hydraulic Machines, Highway Engineering etc. as well as advanced courses like Hydraulic Structures. He has been involved in the research to develop a new approach to increase the discharging characteristics of Labyrinth weirs at AMU, Aligarh during Master’s dissertation period.
He made a novel pioneer research in the area of investigation of flow over Trench weirs
with flat bars and developed a design methodology for rational design of Trench weirs.
He has published more than 60 research papers in international journals with high repute and in various international and national conferences. His research area is
multidisciplinary which includes Trench weir, Labyrinth weirs, Sediment management in Trench weirs, Hydropower, Computational hydraulics etc.
Based on his research article on Global Warming, He got the award of World
Championship-2018 in Environmental Science (Global Warming) by IASR. In 2019 he
got International Faculty Ambassador for Peace Award by SEWA Foundation.
