About Dr. Parashuram L


Dr. Parashuram L. received his Ph. D. in Heterogeneous Catalysis and Electrocatalysis
from Tumkur University Tumkur. He was awarded with three University gold medals from Bangalore University viz. Professor T. H. Venkatashetty Memorial Gold Medal., Dept. of Physical Chemistry. Professor G Narayan 100 th Birthday Memorial Gold Medal., Dept. of
Physical Chemistry. Professor B S Sheshadri Felicitation Committee Gold Medal., Dept.of Physical Chemistry. Presently he is a Senior Assistant Professor of Chemistry at New Horizon College of Engineering, Bangalore, India. His main research interests focus on
design and development of electrode nanomaterials for energy conversion and storage applications, particularly fuel cells, super capacitors and batteries. His research and collaborations have resulted in more than 20 papers in peer reviewed publications, books,
book chapters and Reviews (in high impact journals with high citations) and he has been invited to present his work at various international and national conferences. Also, he is an active member in many professional societies.
