About Dr.Katuri Ravi Babu
Dr.Katuri Ravi Babu, currently works as a Senior Research Fellow (Ph.D.) in Medical
Physiology at Jawaharlal Institute of Post-graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER),Puducherry. He was also second at the University level in Post-Graduation at JIPMER in M.Sc.Medical Physiology, 2013-16 batch. He was awarded Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy from N.T.R. University of Health Sciences (NTR UHS), Andhra Pradesh, in 2009. After his graduation, he had also enrolled for PG Diploma in Cardio-Pulmonary Physiotherapy (CPPT) and was ranked 1 st place from his batch to secure first division marks with distinction at Osmania University, Andhra Pradesh, in 2011. Dr. Ravi Babu is a Life Member in Association of Physiologists of India (ASSOPI). In his association with JIPMER, he has been a resource person,
scientific committee member and financial committee member at different levels for various national conferences and workshops conducted by Department of Physiology, JIPMER, during 2014-2019. He has also received appreciation for his contribution at APPICON-2017. He has received “JIPMER Golden Jubilee Award of ASSOPI” for the year 2019 for his excellent post-graduation research work on “Cardiovascular autonomic functions in smoking tobacco and smokeless tobacco users”. He has also been presenting his research work at various national conferences from 2017 as a research scholar. He has received this award of “InSc Research Excellence Award” for his Ph.D. work, which he has presented an abstract at 65 th National Conference of “Association of Physiologists and Pharmacologists of India (APPICON-2019)” held at Guwahati Medical College, Guwahati, Assam, India.
