About Dr. Kumar Abhishek

Dr. Kumar Abhishek is working presently as an Assistant Professor in Mechanical
Engineering Department at Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management(IITRAM), Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. He has completed both his Doctoral and MTech degree from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, India and owns BTech degree from GBTU, Lucknow, India. His area of research mainly focuses but not limited to Modelling and Optimization of Production Processes, Non Traditional Machining, Welding
and Composite Machining.
He has a huge number of publications on his behalf which majorly includes: 25 SCI and Scopus indexed journal papers and 45 International Conference publications.
He organizes a workshop every year titled as: “MOOMESA- Multi Objective Optimization Methods for Engineering and Scientific Applications” in Mechanical Engineering Department at IITRAM, Ahmedabad, India which is not only about explaining the concepts of Multi Objective and Multi Criteria Decision Making techniques but also provides hands on training to the participants which aids an interactive ambience during the workshop.
He has enlighted various BTech, Mtech and PhD students under his guidance.
He also possesses a lifetime membership of International Association of Engineers (IAENG).
