About Balaji Shivaji Thorat
Balaji S. Thorat (Birth 1992) hails from an agricultural family of Western Ghats of Maharashtra (Village- Devadi, Tehsil- Mohol and Dist. Solapur). He has throughout a brilliant academic record. His area of specialization is in Genetics & Plant Breeding.
He authored of three books on Plant Breeding, IPR & Biology. He published more than 20 research papers in various National & International reputed journals and 10 popular articles to his credits. He contributed three book chapters in various books. He has participated, presented his work & 15 abstracts in various National & International conferences, seminars & symposia. He is qualified J.R.F. & S.R.F. exams. He also attended more than 15 Agriculture related training programme/workshop which was held all over India.
