About Dr.Manjunatha A. S
Dr.Manjunatha A. S.completed his Bachelor and Master degree’s from Tumkur and University of Mysore respectively. Obtained his Doctoral Degree from Bangalore University under the supervision of Prof. Puttaswamy in the area of Physical Organic Chemistry and Catalysis. During his Ph D tenure served as UGC-JRF and SRF fellow from 2011-14. He has 09 years of teaching experience in addition to the research in various reputed institutions. He has published 22 research articles and one review article in Scopus indexed journals.Presentedmore than 25 research papers in workshops/National and International Conferences. He got best poster award in the year 2014 for his presentation from the VTU recognized reputed Institute. He was successfully reviewed more than 20 research articles in various Elsevier and Springer Scopus indexed journals. Communicated more than two projects to various funding agency in India and abroad as well. Furthermore, He is well expertise in handling sophisticated instruments like UV-visible spectrophotometer, FTIR, GC-MS, HPLC, TOC, TGA, DSC, XRD and AAS.In addition to this, he is a life time member of Indian Thermodynamics, Chemical and Environmental Chemistry and Annual member for Indian Science Congress, Indian Council of Chemists etc., Currently, he is working as an Associate Professor and Head in the Dept. of Chemistry, Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Kumbalagodu, Mysore Road, Bangalore.Dr.Manjunatha organized more number of guest lecture’s, webinars, FDP and conferences at DBIT, Bangalore. At present, he is mainly focusing on synthesis of nanomaterials and its multiple applications in the area of photocatalysis, sensors, energy and biological activities.
