About Dr. Dilipan E
I'm glad to say about my research experience, which started in post-graduation as I had gained substantial knowledge in basic science and several relevant subjects. I carried out M.Sc., Botany at Jamal Mohammed College, Tiruchirappalli, one of the foremost institutes in Tamilnadu, India. During my research, I have developed a tremendous interest in and passion for research, especially in Plant Science. I have well experienced in skin diving for the past few years during my field survey in east and west of India as well as Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep group of Islands and also experienced in determining marine environment quality parameters, assessment of seagrass distribution and specification of seagrass transplantation site. I carried out my part of a doctoral degree in the Institute for Botany, Leibniz University, Hannover, Germany, through “DAAD” fellowship. There, I learned advanced molecular techniques. I completed my Doctoral Degree in Marine Biotechnology at the Centre of Advanced Study in Marine Biology, Annamalai University. Furthermore, I published 25 research papers in the journals of national and international repute and three book chapters. After that, I joined as a Research Associate in Discipline of Marine Biotechnology and Ecology, CSIR-CSMCRI Lab, Gujarat. Later on, I received a National Post-Doctoral Fellowship (NPDF) from DST-SERB and worked in the Department of Botany, Periyar University, Tamilnadu. I recently joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal, Tamilnadu.
