About Hitendra S. Joshi
At present I am working as a professor and Head at department of chemistry,
Saurashtra University Rajkot (Gujarat). Under my supervision 48 students have got
Ph.D. degree in chemistry, more than 140 research papers published in national and
international peer review journals. I have successfully completed six major research
project funded by UGC, CSIR, BARC and Saurashtra University. Recently I have
successfully completed UGC-SAP-DSA-1 programme funded to chemistry
department Saurashtra university cost of 180 lakhs. I have worked as subject expert
in selection committee of various universities and colleges for interviewing
professor, associate professor and assistance professor. I have organized national and
international conferences, workshops and faculty developed programs. I am associate
in many scientific journals as editorial board member and reviewer. I am chairman of
board of studies of chemistry of Saurashtra University Rajkot, member in board of
studies of chemistry board at Bhavnagar University, Atmiya University, R. K.
University, and Junagadh University. I have worked as paper setters in many public
examination and government institutes. I have worked as external referee for Ph.D.
thesis evaluation in many university of India. I have worked as in charge of Centre of
Excellence of chemistry department Saurashtra University, Rajkot.
