An Active Teacher, Research worker, Guide, Organizer and Resource Person - During the span of fifteen years in the teaching field, she has continuously worked towards guiding and motivating students
and helping them achieve their highest potential. She is presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, Maitreyi College, University of Delhi. She has served as an active member of Research
Advisory Committee and Placement Cell and Alumni Committee of Maitreyi College. She was a member of Advisory Committee and the member of organizing committee for different Conferences of National level organized by various departments of Maitreyi College. She has contributed as Resource Person in

She has guided summer projects of four different batches of M.Sc. students from Banasthali Vidyapeeth and two different batches of students from Amity University.
Her students are regularly working and presenting their work in the form of papers, posters & models at various national and international platforms. Her major work is in the areas of water remediation, air pollution control through Nanotechnology, e-waste management, plastic waste management. She has constantly been involved in various projects with her students on diversified topics related to science
and social issues. Her six projects were funded by Department of Biotechnology, under star college scheme and three projects by the Research and Incubation Centre, Maitreyi College, University of Delhi.
To reach out to more students she also prepares online tutorial videos and makes them available for global audience. She believes that teaching is not just to impart bookish knowledge but to change the lives of their students and hence change the face of education.
