About Sarita Mishra
I, Sarita Mishra, Director of NGO named VashundharaUdgar. I completed my MSc degree in Organic Chemistry from Udai Pratap College, Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India in 2014 and B.Ed in 2015 from Banaras Hindu University,Varanasi, UP, India. I received BSc Honours degree in Chemistry from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, UP, India in 2012. I worked as an Assistant Teacher from 2016-2019 in Little Flower School, Gorakhpur, UP, India. The zeal of my scientific research started in 2018 when I was an Intern in CIMMYT at CSSRI, Karnal, Haryana, India. My research interest is Agro-ecology, soil chemistry and remediation, climate-smart agriculture, agroforestry and developing sustainable technologies. Till date, I have published two research papers in International Journal of Chemical Studies and three book chapters. At present, I am running my NGO in which I am working as a social activist with a core concern of increasing the farmer’s income and profitability. This NGO also provides employment especially to women by giving them incubation training and start-up support. My mission is to transform degenerative agriculture to regenerative agriculture that caters multifaceted benefits to the farming community.
