About Dr. Arijita Banerjee

Dr. Arijita Banerjee is currently working as a Senior Resident in the Department of Physiology at Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi, India. SHE HAS BEEN TEACHING Physiology for the last 5 years. After completing her MBBS from RGUHS, Bangalore, India, she joined PGIMS Rohtak for postgraduation (MD) in Physiology. She is also a Diplomat from National board of Examination (DNB), India.
During her postgraduation and residency she was actively involved in research through her thesis and other project work. She took participation in various conferences and workshops as delegate, speaker, participant both as a faculty and resident. She won the best poster prizes in consecutive two conferences one at MAMC and other at FIPS PHYSIOCON, ESI hospital & medical collge, Faridabad, India.

Recently she has published a hand book based on her research work on Glaucoma. The book Glaucoma- the autonomic perspective raised few interesting questions on the role of autonomic nervous system on the pathogenesis of the disease, which is being now widely available at international market also ( Amazon.bookstore.USA).
