About Dr. K. Shirish Kumar
Dr. K. Shirish Kumar is working as an Associate Professor of Chemistry at the Vignana Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, India. He holds a Ph.D. degree & Master’s degree in Chemistry from Osmania University under the able guidance of Prof. T. Parthasarathy, Dean Development, and UGC affairs, Osmania University, Hyderabad. He is the recipient of the “International Distinguished Researcher Award”. He authored 4 International books. He has published several papers in well-reputed journals. He is having more than 14 years of Teaching and Research experience. He also has done a Masters in English from Acharya Nagarjuna University. He has qualified State Eligibility test (SET) in the year 2012 conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad. He has completed the UGC Minor Research Project titled “Spectrophotometric-Thermodynamic and Molecular Modelling Studies of Novel Crizotinib with NBS and DBQ” with project number MRP - 6946/16. His Research article “Computational studies of CT Complexes of 6-(trifluoromethyl) furo [2, 3-b] pyridine-2-carbohydrazides with Iodine as σ – acceptor” won the Best paper Award in theInternational Conference on Cognitive Informatics and Soft Computing (ICCISC-2017) sponsored by Springer and IRD India. His Research article “Experimental and Computational studies of CT Complexes of Heterocyclic Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs with Iodine as σ – acceptor”, has been selected for Poster Presentation in 105th Indian Science Congress. He has done 24 Coursera courses, 5 TCS Ion courses, NPTEL courses, Indian Government online courses. He has attended various Seminars, Conferences, Workshops, Faculty Development Programs and Webinars. He was Awarded as best faculty for the academic years 2011-2012 and 2012 -2013 in SV College of Engineering and Technology
