About Aehsan Ahmad Dar

Aehsan Ahmad Dar is a PhD research scholar at the Department of Applied Psychology, Pondicherry University, Puducherry, India. He secured his Bachelors degree from University of Kashmir, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir and Bachelor of Education (Bed) from the same University. He has done his Masters degree in psychology from Barkatullah University, Bhopal and Master of Philosophy in psychology from Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, India. He has also qualified UGC State Eligibility Test for Assistant Professor in the institutions of higher learning. Mr. Dar has teaching experience at the undergraduate level and has taught in Govt. College for Women, M. A. Road Srinagar, Govt. Degree College Baramulla and Govt. Degree College Sumbal, Bandipora of Jammu and Kashmir. He has also worked as an Academic Counsellor for undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the Indra Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi, Regional Centre Srinagar, and Study Centre Govt. College for Women, M. A. Road Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. Mr. Dar has published papers in national and international journals and has presented papers in national and international conferences as well. He has also participated in a number of workshops, seminars,
symposiums and invited talks. His research interests include trauma and recovery, student mental health, risk and protective factors, clinical psychology, counseling psychology and social psychology.
