Sheeny Parwal, a young Social Enthusiast and an Ar.(tist), a budding architect and self trained artist has fervently dedicated her early ages in the field of research and projects entailing the Upliftment of the Society. Right from the beginning of her architectural career, she has made significant contributions in the research works related to societal development. Her graduation dissertation research which has been peer reviewed by the Journal of Biourbanism in 2018, talks about Multisensory Spatial Design providing with the possible design recommendations. Moreover, her thesis research and design unfolded the gender-biasness of public spaces and she innovated a Centre for Celebration of Gender Equality, reminiscencing the experiences of the queer. Post her under graduation, she pursued her interest with regards to how people behave in public spaces further. She has consistently engaged herself with Contree, where she efficaciously worked towards redefining and rejuvenating public urban spaces in Jaipur; also working on revamping the built environment of Government Schools towards a more productive and happy built envelope . All along, she also continued to research on the same subject which resulted in a conference paper presentation titled ‘Urban Voids & Connections’, in July 2019 at ATINER ‘s 9th international conference on Architecture.
This internationally acknowledged research projects the importance of Urban Greens
in the modern scenario.
Even during the pandemic, she has effectively worked on two research articles, one
on understanding the impact of the pandemic on the public exclusive urban city
centres and redefining the role of architecture and architects within the society, post
the pandemic. Another one talks about the designer’s world when restricted in the
lockdown.
Primarily, she is keen towards the spatial development of human inclusive and
human sensitive spaces, irrespective of the odds. She continues to study the same
