Having begun as a lecturer nearly three decades ago, the Principal Mrs. TEJINDER
VENUGOPAL has risen to prominence for her contribution in the field of
education and community services who stands out as a distinct , striking and
seminal in her demonstration of commitment towards making a difference
through her school and college as a leader.
Her successful journey begins with her passion for academics. Her merit rank
speaks volumes about her dedication to studies as she stood throughout merit in
her academic years in M.Com. M.Phil. M.A.(ECO.) ,B.Ed., and Diploma in School
Management.
Her emphasis is to foster qualities like Integrity, Honesty, Trust and Creativity
in students and to cultivate a scientific temper within the bonds of humanism
which made her the Recipient of ‘BEST PRINCIPAL AWRAD’ by NTSE and by
VIDRABHA KARATE ASSOCIATION. She is also honoured by ‘KALABHUSHAN
AWARD’ for her tireless work in arts, science, sports and life skills.
She believes ‘An Award’ is a milestone that marks our growth, unfolds our
imagination and gives life to our thoughts and aspirations ‘. But her aim is to
foster holistic education with a focus on all round development and therefore integrated a range of extra-curricular activities and life skill programs to nurture
student’s innate potential.
But earlier, education was only meant for exams. There was little scope and
opportunities to identify, channelize talent or develop life skills. The
transformation wasn’t an easy one but she has always risen to challenges and
never backed out from introducing newer systems.
This made to earn DAKV & JC today, as the best school of North Nagpur which is
also honoured with the title of ‘BEST SCHOOL ‘by UCN ,NAGPUR and ‘GOLDEN
SCHOOL AWARD ‘ by NTSE.

esteemed Institution.
The school which runs on the ideology of honourable Swami Dayanand
Saraswati and has become a way of life. Her prime focus is to inculcate his

In her own words, the kind of exposure she wanted to give the students at DAKV
& JC, she first experienced it by visiting various well-equipped promising schools ,
attends workshops , seminars under acclaimed personas before introducing into
her school . She cannot stop herself from giving the best of hers to the education
fraternity and thus, presented many thought provoking and brain tickling papers
specially on VAT2005 and GST in various seminars which were highly applauded .
It is acknowledged the world over that oratory skills make a leader and she goes
with the above saying. she is an brilliant orator as she keeps her audience
spellbound whenever she addresses and infuses every listening person with a new
zeal to look out for the challenges in their respective times. And the way she
conducts the programs, shows her resilience, experience, knowledge and critical
thinking. She continues to exceed every expectation set by the management and
education authorities due to changing needs of time. She has power to rise above
any situation and delivers the best results.
It reveals through her work that, ‘at the core of humanity is her care and love
for others’. She very well understands the essence of helping and caring for needy
people in such turbulent times in the middle of global pandemic and thus,
distributed daily essentials and first-aid kits on a large scale to the poor and needy
ones. She proved her mettle by receiving an award ‘CORONA WARRIOR AWARD’
by School Headmasters Charitable Association and Education Department.
In the journey with NGOS, she has actually converted desires into reality. She
feels privileged to be a part of NGO. Her philanthropic work created a great
influence on society and changed minds of people for a bright future of under-
privileged children and thus, created milestones ahead for lesser-blessed young
ones.
Amongst her role models, she counts on her visionary father late Sardar Pritam
Singhji Oberoi and respectfully adores our ex .prime-minister Dr. Manmohan
Singh . She gives complete credit of her humongous success to Hon’ble members
of Arya Vidya Sabha, parents and her elder sister Amarjeet Kaur Oberoi who
taught her dedication, commitment, patience and humanity by addressing
concerns and maintaining a constructive perspective to make her an evolved
being.
