About Dr. Shashi Kant Verma
Dr. Verma work as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Cryopump & Pellet Injector Division and Advanced Computing & Simulation Group at Institute for Plasma Research, Gandhinagar, India since 14th April 2019. He is awarded his PhD at National Institute of Technology Raipur (India) at 1st December 2018. He was also the project trainee in BARC, Trombay, Mumbai India. He has contributed for Design and Development of Advanced Heavy Water Reactor (AHWR) in BARC, Trombay, Mumbai. He has received his MTech Degree from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur (India). He completed his Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Government Engineering College Jagdalpur Bastar, Chhattisgarh. He has received his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from (16) Government Polytechnic Durg, Chhattisgarh. He has published various papers in International Journals (SCI and Scopus index) and International Conferences. He has published various book chapters in International level (Springer) in the field of Nuclear Engineering. He has published various technical articles in Hitavada news papers. He is a Recipient of Young scientist award in 15th Chhattisgarh Young Scientists Congress-2017, which was organized by Chhattisgarh Council of Science & Technology Raipur (C.G.) and Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University Bhilai (C.G.) held from 28th February to 1st March, 2017. He is the Recipient of Best Presentation Award in 19th International Conference on Nuclear Reactor Theory and Numerical Analysis organized by WASET, Bali Indonesia held from October 23-24, 2017. He has got a Certificate of outstanding contribution in reviewing award by the editors of ENERGY CONVERSION AND MANAGEMENT Elsevier (Impact Factor = 8.208), Amsterdam, The Netherlands for august 2018. He was a Coordinator and Instructor in Refresher Programme on ANSYS FLUENT 17 (RP-AF2018) from 11/06/18 to 23/06/18 at MREC Hyderabad. He was the Organizing Committee Member in Self Finance Short Term Training Program (STTP) on Experimental and Computational Fluid Mechanics for Engineering and Basic Sciences From 7th November to 11th November 2016 Organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Raipur. He delivered webinars in Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering, Lavale, Pune and J. B. Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad during lockdown (COVID-19).
