About A. Vennimalai Rajan
Mr. A. Vennimalai Rajan, M.E.,M.I.S.T.E, is working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Mechanical Engineering in Nadar Saraswathi College of Engineering & Technology, since June 2017. He holds his Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai and a Master Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Anna University, Chennai. He has published 6 International journals in Scopus indexed level and presented more numbers of papers on varied topics in reputed national and international level Conferences. He has been a lifetime membership in Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and also he has been a Professional Membership in Institute for Engineering and Publications (IFERP). He has a vast expertise in subjects like Strength of Materials, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Metallurgy, Production Technology of Agricultural Machinery, Professional Ethics in Engineering, Mechatronics, Micro Manufacturing and Advanced Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems. Also he has vast expertise in handling various laboratories for bachelors like Strength of Materials Laboratory, Fluid Mechanics and Machinery Laboratory, Manufacturing Technology Laboratory and Automation Metal Forming & Simulation Laboratory for post graduates. He has guided more than six innovative projects for both under graduates and post graduates. He has awarded for the appreciation of securing good Academic Performance in the subjects like Strength of Materials, Professional Ethics in Engineering, Micro Manufacturing and Advanced Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems by the management of Nadar Saraswathi College of Engineering and Technology. Also he awarded as a “Creative Educator” in appreciation of the effort and support for innovative project entitled “Design and Fabrication of Computerized Numerical Control Based Pneumatic Punching Machine” and secured first position in Project Expo and Science Day 2019 organized by Nadar Saraswathi College of Engineering and Technology, Theni. He has successfully completed and certified as Elite in National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) for the courses like Ethics in Engineering Practices, Inspection and Quality Control in Manufacturing, Leadership and Effective Engineering in Teaching Practice. He has undergone more than 20 numbers of Faculty Development Programs (FDP), Workshops, and Short Term Training Programs (STTP) both in technical and common streams. Also he has organized a National Level Technical Symposium on Techno Fest 2K17 at Nadar Saraswathi College of Engineering and Technology, Theni, dated 24th August 2017. He has accomplished more than 70 numbers of online Webinars in different streams and also organized a National Level Technical Webinar on Material Thermodynamics: Fundamentals & its Applications by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Nadar Saraswathi College of Engineering and Technology, Theni, dated 7th August 2020. He has more than 3 years of experience in Teaching Profession and wide Knowledge in Material Science and Composites.
