About Dr. Devendra Singh Porte
My name is Dr. Devendra Singh Porte and I am from Chhattisgarh, India. Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor (permanent) in the Department of Rural Technology and Social Development at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (A Central University), Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, India. About my qualification, I have completed my Ph.D. in Zoology from Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur (C.G.) India in the year of 2018. I have done M. Sc. Zoology from Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur (C.G.) India in the year of 2011, M.Sc. in Rural Technology from Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur (C.G.) India the year of 2008 and B.Sc. with Biology Group (Zoology, Botany, Chemistry) from Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur (C.G.) India. I have received Gold Medal for M.Sc. Rural Technology from Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur (C.G.) on 18th December 2010. Before joining my current position of Assistant Professor, I have worked as Biology Lecturer (permanent) at Govt. Veer Kargil-Shahid Dhananjay, Higher Secondary School, Pandarbhatha, Mungeli (C.G.) India from March2013- October 2019, Guest Faculty Lecturer in Zoology at Govt. Gajanand Agrawal P.G. College, Bhatapara (C.G) India from October 2011 to March 2012. Junior Executive at Chhattisgrah Minor Forest Produce Federation (CGMFPFed), Forest Department, Raipur (C.G), India from October 2008 to April 2009. Participated in various conferences where I have present my research works, published many research papers in reputed journals, delivered many Delivered invited talks. Currently, in 30th June 2020 delivered invited talk as Keynote speaker in the national webinar entitled “Role of synchronized circadian cycle in immune enhancement with special reference to mental health in time of COVID-19.” jointly organized by the Department of Botany and Department of Zoology, Satish Chandra College, Ballia (U.P.). I have already provided my CV when I applied from award nomination uploading form. My area of research interest are Chronobiology, Field-Ornithology, Animal Behaviour, Immunology, Endocrinology, Toxicology, Entomology, Soil Science, Biodiversity and Wildlife and I am interested to learn all new trends of research in sciences.
